Web Design & Development Client Website
This is the final product of a semester-long assignment from an intermediate web development class I took at Clemson to help teach students how to work with clients to design, program, and publish a working and aesthetic website through hard-coding HTML and CSS.

My client wanted a bakery website so we met and went over the general structure (pages needed), purpose, and color themes for her site.
(I also decided to create a simple logo for her site to make it feel more like a real bakery)

In this video, you'll see rollover effects, photo galleries, and more on each of the site's pages all created with HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
Phase #1: Wireframes
After discussing the purpose, pages, and overall feel she wanted for her site, I moved onto creating wireframes. During this stage, I created these to give both her as well as myself some sort of visual for the site.

We met outside of class to go over her thoughts on the layout that I had chosen as well as some elements I was thinking of including and everything went over very smoothly.

Onto the next phase!
Phase #2: Mock-ups
After reviewing the wireframes with my client, I created these mock-ups to give us both an even better visual of what the site would look like before even touching any HTML & CSS.

Once we went over the initial mock-ups, she brought back some changes so I updated the mock-ups and we met again to finalize everything before coding her website.

Next...the fun part!
Phase #3: Coding
After finalizing the mock-ups, I dove into the hard-coding HTML & CSS. I ran into many challenges but online forums from the web community mostly answered all of my questions.

What I enjoyed most about this phase was the challenge of coding a site from scratch (something I had never even thought of doing before until taking this class).

I love a good puzzle!
